How to use a mouse trap
- Put the bait in the bait trough first. The bait should be selected according to the different types and places of the rats, and adjusted in time according to the rats. The bait should be kept fresh during continuous use.
- Hold the end with the spring in your hand, and then press it down hard until you hear a click to complete the clamp.
- Place the supported mouse clamp in a place where the mouse often moves. It is generally recommended to arrange it along the wall. General places are laid out at night, and they are put away in the early morning. In places with little activity such as warehouses, fresh baits can be replaced after inspection to continue deployment.

Other rodent killing methods
- Physical method: Prevent rat invasion. According to the investigation situation, different methods are adopted in different environments. Electronic mouse traps, mouse pads, mouse clips, mouse traps, etc. are used to form a line of defense, which can kill indoor mice and cut off the invasion of rats. The physical rodent killing method is efficient, hygienic, safe for people, and free from environmental pollution.
- Chemical method: trap and kill rats. According to the seasonal changes, in different periods and different environments, prepare and use palatable bait to kill.
- Environmental control: The most effective and lasting method for rodent control is to exclude rodents from buildings. In the building part, the rodent prevention facilities are well established. The construction of the rodent prevention works of the building is divided into the following points:
① The sewer and drainage ditch shall be intact and the broken pipeline shall be repaired in time. Pipes leading to rivers and lakes and beaches need to use one-way valves or ratchets to prevent rats from entering the building.
② The height of the foundation from the ground shall not be less than 60cm. For unsuitable old buildings, add 10cm thick L-shaped concrete mouse blocking boards around the periphery.
③ The basement and the first floor windows and all ventilation holes must be barbed wire with a mesh size of 13 × 13mm.
④ Doors and windows must be closed with a gap of less than 6mm. Underneath the door is a metal kickboard.
⑤ An iron ball should be added to the upper end of the raindrop tube, and the lower end should be 30cm away from the ground to prevent the rats from entering.
⑥ All holes for pipes and cables entering and leaving the building must be blocked with cement.
Use cement to smooth all holes and gaps in the building to prevent concealed use by rats.
